The next institution visited by the Chairman was the Malaysian Dental Association (MDA) which was held on Wednesday, 1 December 2004. The issues discussed included the following:
To create interest among members by organising a common interest event, e.g. National Dental Clinics with free information, services and develop partners in services.
To provide medical protection to the society by providing proper insurance coverage.
To monitor the guidline on product accreditation, e.g. MDA logo on Colgate Toothpaste is based on guidelines
To exchange of services by introducing a panel of Professional Resource Persons.
To organise exhibitions & Promote interactions and professionalism
To update on educational information & Canvass expertises among members, e.g. new information on medical technology in the market place.
