On Friday, 22 October 2004, she visited The Plastics and Rubber Institute of Malaysia (PRIM) and the issues deliberated were as follows:
To have joint programmes with BIM and its Member Institutions on topics of mutual interest through seminar, training, education and talks.
To be vocal with issues affecting the public and the country where PRIM can support BIM opinion.
To confirm the establishment of the Pro-Tern Committee of BIM Young Professionals.
To establish a new brand image of BIM with a logo to enhance the
corporate image.
To propose the Technologist Act to cover polymer scientist or technologist for a better professional recognition.
To focus on the need of the industry where polymer and rubber
technology are two sciences based on professions and training.
To enlighten the role of BIM and PSDC in globalisation for the benefit of the professionals.
