The Board of Management of BIM holds meetings regularly to review plans and set priorities to work forwards its objectives and find solutions to problems concerning the professional community and the nation as a whole. The Board consists of one to three representatives from each member institution and it determined the policies and direction for BIM.

BIM, one of the largest professional centres in the world, has no doubt made significant contributions to the promotion of professionalism in Malaysia. That BIM is still growing after 26 years cannot be denied. It is a developing and viable entity and its potential to assist in national development has yet to be fully utilised.
